A combination of Love and Bro originating from England. Love is used to show affection towards another, while Bro refers to one's male companion. This combination goes a step beyond the slang word Bro to include affection as well. Bruv has grown to simply be used in place of Bro likely due to ignorance of its origins and intended usage in the homosexual community.
