using buddy

"Using buddy" is a term used to describe an addict's primary partner in crime who is at the same level of addiction and decision making as the addict themself.

Using buddy can be a compliment among addicts "you are the best using buddy ever!", or a disparaging comment - for example if someone calls you a crack addict in a critical way because of your behavior, and you reply "fuck you, using buddy" to indicate they are the pot callint the kettle black.

An Urban Buddy is the friend you contact when traveling to a city, or town, to connect you with the best/most useful places (i.e. music venues, restaurants, shopping, nightlife, universities and libraries, pharmacies, museums, etc.)

Pud Buddy

(Noun) A dude who you're friends with one on one, but when you hang out with your crew, you join in and bust his balls like everyone else.

(Verb) To treat someone like a pud buddy.

(Noun) I was over at Mike's house and it was all cool, but as soon as we went down to the bar to catch the game he treated me like his pud buddy.

(Verb) Dude, why are you always pud buddying me whenever we hang out with Mike and Jim?

Lasagna-buddy

A Lasagna-buddy is a special kind of buddy who gets you and knows your feels. You can trust them, and although sometimes they may be mysterious they are also wondrous. A Lasagna-buddy is a special type of buddy, formed only in the darkest and brightest of times. They are loved by many people, they are a unicorn rainbow shower on a dark day. The bonds between a lasagna-buddy and their chosen friends are strong. They tend to make everything around them better than before, like a walking-talking giant prism intersecting light rays. It is said there is a lasagna-buddy for every person.
