when you post a good post on a social platform (for instance reddit) and that post slowly gets upvoted, but when more people notice that particular post, your post will be upvoted faster and faster until it eventually reaches frontpage.

dude 1 :"oh shit, come over here bro! my post has been noticed by many people! my post gets upvoted faster and faster! it's like an upvote acceleration!"
dude 2:"nice bro, you'll hit the frontpage soon"!

totally accurate battle simulator can be shortened to T.A.B.S. T.A.B.S is a silly game about making polygon people(animals and gods included) fight. T.A.B.S was in closed alpha and pre-alphas for 2 years(almost 3 years) and in 2019 on April 1st they released the early access version. you would expect to be a joke but it's not

Maine accent

The accent us Mainers have, mainly up North. While we're enjoying a nice lobstah dinner with a side of blueberries, we have conversations like this:

"So how was ya visit to Bah Hahbah? I hope ya had a wicked good time."
"Ayuh. The Flatlandahs runnin' the hotel had this cunnin' cat with 'em."
"Wicked!"
"I also got to see Bob Mahley. It was a wicked pissah show!"

And no, not every Maine accent is quite this strong.

DS account (darkside account)

An anonymous account that is often used for horny tweeting, thirst trapping, fetish baiting, and sometimes used to upload nudes of oneself; exhibitionistic and/or voyeuristic behavior.

Nowadays, I see the trend is for most of these accounts to be ds accounts at first, attract perverts into following them, then switch it into their main accounts (which is weird) bcs it’s still filled with perverts commenting perverted things even when the posts seem normal.
