Since being prescribed Ambien, I have driven my car while asleep, made a snack while asleep and had a few episodes of sleep using. Once I even tried to snort some Xanax in my sleep.

The point where you are so sleepy it feels like you're drunk because you kind of are. The blood alcohol level rise in your body with a lack of proper sleep and also with out having to drink alcohol.

I feel so loopy right now from a lack of sleep. I'm so sleep drunk right now!

Quantum Sleep

The involuntary time travel into the future immediately after slightly waking up and drifting into sleep again. Quantum Sleep is triggered by a later-to-be-regretted thought or phrase "let me sleep five more minutes". Quantum Sleep transports you through an hour in what seemed like two minutes. the result is lateness and thus alters the events of the day.

example:

Before: Let me catch five more minutes of sleep.

...Quantum Sleep...

After: Shit! fucking hell, I am hectically late.
