The business/museum/ store/restaurant was in business for 25 years or more and was a success, but then in about 2020, someone told them they needed to change (shut down) and gave them of list of reasons why, and because they listened to bullshit (and because they were idiots) instead of fighting change, they ended up closing forever. It was fighting change that kept them open, not being up to date.
Change isn't something you need if you're successful at something, don't allow anybody to convince you otherwise, since their motives are questionable if they think change is needed at a time like that.

There are 2 kinds of people, the ones that demand change the way they want it when they want it, and the ones that think most changes are not natural, and that the people trying to make them don't really have everyone's best interest in mind, that they really have their own (financial) interest in mind.
Things are going to keep going without change as much as they would with change. If things aren't good enough for you the way they are, without having to change, why are you here? They're still not going to be good enough if they change a thousand times more.

If someone has reached the age of 35, or 50, or 90, and hasn't changed, they don't have to change. It's never too late to remain yourself without changing anything.
If someone has reached an age of 35, or 50, or 90, and they like who they are, they don't have to listen when somebody says they need to change, or that it's never too late to change, especially when it's coming from somebody who has no answers they don't.

There's a lot of people who are quick to try and change something that's been there for decades or longer, but don't want to preserve anything that's been around a while, they only seem to want to preserve something new and fresh, something that just got done.
The guy/girl wanted everything he/she wasn't a part of or didnt do with his/her group eliminated, but wanted everything he/she/they did do preserved forever. They thought everyone had to welcome and agree with their thoughts about change, and that anybody who disagreed should die.

The people who talk about wanting change often dont usually talk about a stock market crash, they make it sound like all change is a good thing, even if the country was in good shape without change, and didn't need it. Usually they really want everyone else to put up with what they want done differently.

A lot of people are quick to try and change something once they get bored or frustrated with it, but they're not as quick to try and preserve something that's already there. That's like throwing out decent food because it's a day old for a quick fix of instant gratification at a fast food restaurant because it was cooked that day and not reheated.
Things not changing fast enough for some people isn't frustrating, people that need everything to change to keep from getting bored or frustrated are frustrating people to know.
