Andy Zirkor is a retired professional hockey player who was born in Hedley, BC on January 7, 1973, Zirkor played for the Penticton Panthers in the 1990-92 seasons. He went on to play for the Regina Pats (WHL) in 1992-93, then the Lethbridge Hurricanes 1993-1996. He turned professional in 1997 with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the Western Professional Hockey League. In the 1998–99 season he moved to Europe to play for the EHC Kloten of Switzerland. After a three seasons in Europe he then was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1st round (5th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He traded to St. Louis in 2003 and then traded back to Vancouver in 2004 where he stayed until he retired early with a knee injury in 2009.

Hes a very intellegent guy he works to the fullest and has the biggest heart. Every one knows him and loves him. Hes very fun and outgoing. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a friend or boyfriend
