when two best friends (often having met each other less than 6 months ago) are so much the same person, it’s why they clicked and now they will just continue to ascend into being the exact same. there is no cure.

Stockholm syndrome refers to a psychological phenomenon where hostages develop positive feelings, such as sympathy and affection, toward their captors. This occurs as a coping mechanism, a form of self-preservation where the captive may come to identify with and even defend their captor. The term originated from a 1973 bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden.

After being held captive for weeks, the hostages developed Stockholm syndrome, even defending their captors during the trial.

Town Syndrome

a horrific life-threatening neurological disease in which the affected individual has no concept of anything existing outside the tiny bubble that is their home town.

symptoms include but are not limited to:
- being very popular in high school and constantly talking about “the glory days”
- having a constantly dwindling friend group because everyone else is moving on with their life
- still showing up to high school parties
- white
- always trying to get into to fights because of a deep feeling of failure or unhappiness

You: “Boss got me workin overtime this weekend, i wish i had gone to college or traveled somewhere, and never got diagnosed with town syndrome.”

That one guy you kinda saw around in high school who is now somehow your “best friend”: “shut up, you fucking towny”

Woman Derangement Syndrome

A mental illness where a man (or in some cases, other women & gender identities ) become irritated and hostile by the mere presence or mention of a biological female, for various personal and/or cultural reasons.

For example, most 4chan and Roblox players suffer from Woman Derangement Syndrome. Such as thinking that all females are inherently “goonbait”.

Fisherman syndrome

When you’re addicted to fishing and don’t want to do anything else with your cuddies but to fish.
Friends call the cuddy to go out but goes to voicemail so you leave one “Yo cuddy let’s go to the bar and restaurant.” (Voice mail)
Mr fisherman syndrome doesn’t answer back

Also gets butthurt about leaving the fishing spot late when the next day is a weekend also claims “you don’t got anything to lose” but it’s more like the person who says it doesn’t really have anything

“Yo cuddy let’s go out”
“I’ll see wsp”
(Calls again later that day)
“So we gonna go out or what cuddy”
“Nah ima jus go fishing”
Call hangs up damn he got fisherman syndrome or something
