When someone sends you lots of text messages, often without receiving any replies.

It’s often lots of small messages like the repetition of ‘hey’ or ‘hello’ or ‘are you up?’

A: ‘is Jacob still harassing you?

B: ‘yeah, he keeps chain texting me - it’s sorta annoying ngl’

Text Sniping

The act of noticing someone who you know in a crowd or some other public situation and sending them a text from an unknown position referring to something which they are doing at the time e.g. "Reading by the lakeside, how very avant garde" this simulates the 'shot out of nowhere' effect of a sniper.

<Maria is having coffee>
Scott: (unseen by Maria) <observes Maria from a distance and sends a text> "ooh two sugars, bit of a sweet tooth aren't you?"

Maria: <checks phone and begins looking around aimlessly> replies "where are you?"

Scott: "I'm text sniping, so you have to guess"

During my text-day, I coined"text-days." I have a lot of descriptive neologisms in my texts from earlier text-days; maybe I'll add them to the dictionary, too.

When you receive a bunch of texts from someone and you reply with a one word answer, essentially blowing them off so that they stop texting you.

Is that all you have to say to me? I sent you all these heartfelt texts and you give me a one word text?? Are you giving me the text curb??
