The colored squiggly lines under questionable words in popular word-processing programs, used to highlight potential grammar or spelling errors.

I thought I'd spelled it correctly, but then I saw the squiggly bits and knew I'd misspelled it.

A Scottish mechanical term for a part that is left over at the end of a job, ie "where did that part come fae", usually if the car works this part goes in the bin because the car works okay without it.
