-A scene in a television show, movie, or other form of televised media usually denotd by a soft, down-tempo, piano solo. Could range from lovers reuniting, to the loss of a loved one, to a life-lesson being taught. Intent is to either teach a lesson or invoke an emotion.

An empathy-inspiring moment when you witness someone in a lonely, sad, or hopeless situation. Usually when one is down on their luck.

Look at that old man sitting alone in the movie theatre, eating a tuna sandwich he bought from the gas station with the last three dollars of his pension... total sandwich moment.
