When your a black women in public and you see another black women and you try to smile and be nice. But all they do is give you an evil rude stare or they will look you up and down and then just stare at you.

Bridge Stare

That awkward yet hilarious... Yet very uncomfortable space of time where you're stuck behind a raised bridge with a bunch of other people and you're all thinking two things.... Why me? And," let's kill the bridge guy!!!" the mutual feeling of hate for the bridge guy and for the yacht which is going under the bridge is so great that you can actually taste it. Yeahhhhhh.
Can also be applicable to the stares given and received while waiting.

Dude! I was waiting for the stupid bridge to go back down, and 10 minutes after the bridge was raised, I started to feel the bridge stare growing.... Hundreds of eyes focused on the guy in that little office control panel thinggy. I am scarred for life.

something that guys do a lot. can be done if they see someone really hot, or if they see someone fugly and want to laugh at them. at first it's kinda annoying, but then you get used to it. people who stare too much should get their eyes poked out.

before, I used to be really uncomfortable when someone would stare at me. now, I really don't care.

8:47 Faraway Stare

The point of every episode of House where the titular character, during a mundane conversation about everyday life that's not at all medically related to the case at hand, looks off into the distance and solves the diagnosis out of nowhere. Usually it happens at or around the 47 minute mark of the episode, give or take a minute.

The patient almost died 3 times but, while making fun of Cuddy's eye shadow color, House somehow figured out the patient had Lyme Disease after all thanks to an 8:47 Faraway Stare.
