They threw stones and bottles at the team, and burnt the Japanese national flags. In every match, the Japanese national anthem was drowned out by boos, and Japanese supporters were thrown PET bottles and garbage by anti-Japanese Chinese supporters. Chinese xenophobia raises serious doubts about Beijing's ability to host the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Among the worlds oldest civilization arose in Southwestern Asia in the fertile crescent of what is now Iraq and Turkey. Southwest Asian tradition is very similar to that of Central Asia and the main religion is Islam, however prominent Christian populations are present in Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Georgia and Armenia.
