Sell out

Particularly in music when an artist changes his/hers sound so it could appeall more to the masses. The most recent sell out is Bon Jovi. Or when someone snitches on you so they wont have to get in trouble. So they sold you out.

Sellophane is cellophane with an s instead of a c. Where cellophane implies clarity, sellophane makes no such claims. Sellophane implies the state of being where clarity is recognized to be a misleading facade.
