-bit

A suffix to the end of a typically shortened name. It serves as either fluff-text, or can be used affectionatly, depending on the tone used and personality, horoscope, planet alignnment, blood type, whether chocolate or strawberry, and mother's maiden name of the person you're speaking to.

"So, how is ze Tau-bit?"

"HOSHI-BIT!!"
"ERIK-BIT!!"

1) a noun combination of 'Delta' and 'Bacon Bits', mainly a name for a kaucasian dog, slighly plump/obese, bichon frise, missing/stolen/hijacked dog.

2) can be said or yelled to clear akward silence or to answer rhetorical questions

A Scottish mechanical term for a part that is left over at the end of a job, ie "where did that part come fae", usually if the car works this part goes in the bin because the car works okay without it.
