ok i'm fucking sick of all these anti emo shit bags and emo posers so let make a few things clear. emo means emotional. they listen to emotional music such as hawthonre heights, the used and my chemical romance. not all emos slit there wrists, you can cry without self mutilation! as i just said emo's often cry because they don't want to conform to the steriotypical male who shows no emotion besides anger. emo's often write poetry or entrys in there diary. emo fashion tends to focus around long hair cut in a fringe which covers one eye, tight clothes and make-up in particular eyeliner regardless of sex. emo's aren't all posers who put there pictures in the dictionary (not that I mind because most of them are hot!) and the're not a cheap imitation of goth. some emo's are bisexual but then again so are some normal people it doesn't define who you are.
EMO'S CAN BE WHOEVER THE FUCK THEY WANT TO BE AND SHOULDN'T BE PERSECUTED BECAUSE OF THERE WAY OF LIFE!!!

emo 

Emo is a style of music. If you listen to emo music, then you are emo. Most people misunderstand what emo really is. Most people think that if someone wears a lot of black, has diagnal bangs, black nail polish, black hair, tight clothes, cut themselves, heavy make-up, and seem to never smile... theyre wrong!

Example 1: I did a little experiment, I acted "fake emo". I wore heavy eyeliner, black nail polish, etc... and people actually asked me and said something about me being emo. My friend, she listens to emo music, but i would probably never be able to tell if she was emo!

Example 2: I actually used to cut myself a little (not my best moment, I admit) and some people found out and called me emo... I just shook it off because I know emo is music, not style!

A derogatory label used to describe a population of teens that choose to explore and celebrate the dark side of life. However , after such great bands as My Chemical Romance and Escape The Fate share the same trait, the word has backfired. Lately many teens strive to act of be emo, by forcing themselves to listen to Taking Back Sunday, dressing in black, and acting depressed. Over 90% of emo teenagers are posers.

a way of life that is either often rejected or misinterpreted. those that are emo will never admit to actually being emo because then that would be another form of conforming to a meaningless consumer driven life. emos are driven in a meaningless life but they do not allow themselves to become consumed in materialistic items. they are vampires to society, never will they accepted. nor do they wish to be. they view life as constantly shitting on them and personally i agree. life does always find its little ways of making those humble suffer enernally

#2 Waste of space on society, wasting electricity for their constant myspace sessions and running up hospital bills for when they cut themselves.
#3 Listen to screamo metal such as my chemical romance and bullet for my valentine then quote pointless lyrics for their myspace name for people to realise just how much their life sucks.
