When you tell a lie for no reason. Telling this will not help you get out of something or help save someones feelings. This lie is dumb and just for the sake of lieing.

She said "the sky is green today" why she tell us that dumb lie.

dumb stick

A grass and brush cutting implement comprising a straight wooden handle about 3 to 4 feet long and a double edged serrated blade attached at one end of the handle with an asymmetrical yoke. In use, the blade is held close to and parallel with the ground and the implement is swung from side to side so that cutting occurs on each stroke.
