Couch thief

a. That friend who somehow always ends up leaning on your life, crashing on your couch, and gives you nothing in return, i.e. when you're all watching TV, the couch thief asks you to get a soda for them, and when you return they've stolen your seat.

couch-loft

In a place, i.e. a dorm room, where space is very limited, and the only available section of the room that is available to put a couch, is where a bed would normally reside. not recommended for large heavy couches, or a place to perform sexual acts. also discouraged, is the use of alcoholic beverages before the use of a couch-loft.

I was totally rocking it on my couch-loft, watching a movie.
