The "Haters gonna hate" "catchphrase" is unhumorous, unoriginal, dated and cringy. It originates from the same core idea as "Dab on them haters!"For the people who consider themselves superior to anyone who has even a slightly different opinion and expresses it: Did you consider that maybe there is a reason everyone thinks you are an asshole/bitch? People don't get massive criticism for anything. You fucked something up and you are too cocky to admit it.
