The Gan Games

1. An annual, no-holds-barred gathering of retired (and a few still-standing) Police legends—plus one honorary hydro guy—held at a cottage in Gananoque. Defined by excessive drinking, unapologetically repeated war stories, relentless chirping, and euchre games that should come with a warning label.

2. A sacred weekend of floating on pontoons, forgetting the rules, making up new ones, and calling out whoever passed out first. Celebrated continuously for over three decades—this isn’t a party, it’s an institution.
