A horrible kids' show in which a mildly retarded boy named Shobu is supposed to become a Kaijudo Master. He and his dork friends set off to battle numerous enemies in order to boost his rep. We've seen it all before. The theme song doesn't do much to help either. Picture some guy yelling "SHOBU! dadadadadadada SHOBU!" for at least 5 minutes. That's the theme song.
Besides the idiot characters and the stupid theme song, this show is mainly revolving around trading cards. Yu-Gi-Oh!, anyone? And, I myself have bought a pack of these cards. All they are are anime-tized versions of Magic: The Gathering. And get this; they're manufactured by Wizards of The Coast. Somebody must've slipped there.
Back to the show. The anime also features brilliant(see: shit) humor, such as references to America's pop culture, lame flashback things, and puns. Ha. Ha. I'm laughing my ass off. The monster names are also quite stupid. I don't know about you, but "Five-Starred Ladybug of Doom" sure sounds cooler than "Mongrel Man".
All in all, I'd advise all people, young and old, to stay as far away from this piece of shit as possible

A common way of settling disputes (usually over obscure and trivial facts) between nerds. Each nerd is entitled to a Second, who will watch the battle with a phone at the ready. The two nerds will argue their points using their expansive knowledge of random facts, and the best nerd will win. If they come to a standstill, the Seconds will fact-check/research using their phones and assist their partners.
A: Star Trek is clearly superior to Star Wars.
B: No way! Star Wars is without a doubt better.
A: Is that so? Nerd duel!!

A smoke duel is initiated by challenger "slapping" an opponents face with smoke, a smoke slap, and declaring "I challenge you to a duel!" The two players then stand back to back and move forward 4.20 paces. To start the first turn both players turn around to face each other. To end a turn both players must have blown a smoke ring at the opponent. The players may "shoot" at any time once a turn has started, including at the same time as an opponent. If both players miss they take a step forward to start another turn, then repeat until one or both of the smoke rings hits an opponent in a turn. The winner is the first person to hit the opponent with a smoke ring. In the event that the two players hit each other in the same turn both players lose.
