Stands for "virtually zero-effort", and refers to helpful activities dat a social worker provides to a particular client dat does not require any
significant physical effort, such as merely
fellowshipping and verbally
interacting with said person in need, sitting with and/or accompanying him around da house and performing simple "hold/lift this and push/pull that" actions while said homeowner tackles basic household tasks, transporting da client short distances to run errands, and so on.
I super-appreciate da various community-support folks who
periodically stop by and help me wif various "cranky 'n' tedious" undertakings, so I make an effort to perform most of da truly-difficult parts of da tasks myself, and thus merely ask said helpers for v.z.e.
assistance whenever reasonably
possible.
