The Event Horizon

The Event Horizon is an "On the Rise" indie band from Connecticut. Formerly known as Penny for Your Thoughts, The Event Horizon was formed late 2008 early 2009. The band currently consists of three amazing musicians: Sara on bass and vocals,Luis on drums,and Ben on guitar. Their myspace page is www.myspace.com/p4yourthoughts.

ABC Event

"Armchairs, Binoculars, Coors" Event - a type of emergency during which no response can resolve the emergency. The implication is that in such an event, the only appropriate response is to get a comfortable viewing position and wait it out.

"If the entire internet goes down, it's an ABC Event for us anyway so really there's no use in planning for contingencies."

Event Horizon

The original definition is:
"The gravitational sphere of a black hole within which even light cannot escape"
-Wikipedia

However, recently, a new definition has risen meaning something completely different:
The Event Horizion is the point at which a person is too drunk or stoned to be able to function properly, yet alone remember anything the next day.

Example:

Dude 1: *takes-drag-from-J*
Dude 2: "Oh shit, you don't look so well..."
Dude 1: *falls-off-chair,-blissfully-passes-out*
Dude 2: "Damn that lucky bastard, he just passed the Event Horizon!"
