org. 2004; south Seattle, WA; when stealing vehicles got to be too risky, a few people started scouting out unlocked cars & emptying them of their contents instead. Thus, they went from "jiggling" ignitions to "DIGgling" thru cars for a come up, as it went.

(verb); "I left her alone and she diggled thru everything in my bathroom!"
