Toxic

When you lend you boyfriend money then he dumps you and blocks you. You find him at work to confront him. He claims that he blocked you so he could get over you (he's lying). He unblocks you that night to shout at you for coming to the bar where he works. You ask for your money and he says he'll pay the next day. He doesn't. He strings you along for a couple of months. You realise that you have his dad's phone number saved. You call him. He promises that he'll make the boy pay it all back. You get a few payments over the next few months. Then it stops. Not even half paid back. You text the father a few times. No reply. You call him. No reply. Are you blocked? You whatsapp him. He asks why you have not contacted him in months. The boy had told him that everything was paid back. Did the boy block you on his father's phone? Possibly. The father stops responding to your whatsapps. He says that the boy and you are saying different things so you should sort it between yourselves. You realise that the whole family is toxic.
