Disco Rug

A Disco Rug is an interchangeable term used to describe either a mustache or pubic hair, with the meaning typically depending on the context in which it is used.

Example A: “Hey man, I saw you rocking that disco rug Saturday night. Lookin’ good!”

Example B: “It was a long night. We went back to their apartment and I found out they had a crazy Disco Rug.”

Queens Disco

Largest teenage disco in Ireland. Takes place on Halloween, Easter, Christmas, some during summer, etc. in Queens Hotel in Ennis, Clare. Basically, you just dance to blaring music, get pictures with people and shift random people you’ve probably never met. It’s actually great craic most of the time. All the lads wear jeans (or tracksuit pants if you’re that guy) and some sort of Siksilk or Illusive or 11 Degrees T-shirt. Then all the girls wear skirts so tight you’d think they just rapped themselves with flex tape. They also wear more fake tan than Donald Trump, so don’t wear a white T-shirt or it will get destroyed from getting pictures with people.

Lad: “Did you see that fella Evan at Queens disco?”
Lad 2: “No, why?”
Lad: “Jaysus, he was shifting beoirs left and right!”

Disco Snack

The kind of food that sustains you at 3:11 AM when you´re balls deep on that dance floor and you know you need to keep that energy up without vomming all the club. This is a slang used in Coconut Club part of the underground scene in Austin to refer to a snack in the middle of the dance.

Yoo, I just got a Disco Snack I feel good to dance again.

I'm too drunk and tired with all this booty shake, let's go and get a Disco Snack in Cuatro Gato.
