- cranking up the air conditioning and wearing your favourite sweater

- hanging Christmas lights

- putting up your Christmas tree

- buying gifts for family and friends (Note: you should not expect that people will give you gifts in July.)

- cooking a turkey or tofurky

- making and drinking spiked egg nog
