A very common overwhelming emotion by new couples experienced within the first 1 - 6 months of their relationship.

They are poisoned by their own happiness and led to believe they are the "Perfect Couple", after the honey moon phase ends and the healthy relationship begins... NRS quickly fades away.

It’s the worst thing because you wish you were that other person who’s in a relationship with your crush and you just imagine life with your crush if you guys were together.

Girl: *fake smile* ohh that’s great *really dying inside*

Friend: hey what happened

Girl: my crush has a girlfriend!!!
Friend: no way!! What!?
Girl: 😭

open-face sandwich relationship

When two single people spend as much time together as a pair in a relationship but aren't sexually involved with each other. The term applies best to opposite sex pairs or same sex pairs where at least one is homosexual. Especially applies to situations where one party wants the pair to be sexually involved.

As in half of an open faced sandwich waiting exposed for the other to be on top of it and for their meats and other juicy bits to be smooshed together and mixed.
