The act of mumbling and slurring words simultaneously while speaking, resulting in a non-understandable statement.

Jamie: Hey, how's it going?
Hannah: Pretty good, actually; I just got a dubahbgdaboh...
Jamie: I'm sorry, what? You were gravy talking big time just then.

A mocking expression said when you are confused because someone is talking in a complicated way or about a complicated subject. Usually said in the middle of the speech, conversation etc.

History Teacher : "Rose, as other neo-Foucaudian theorists of governance, stakes out a position of inventive ... "
John to his classmate : "This man .. Is talking awsome !"

Something southerners say whenever a Kid/Teen actually sounds smart and uses proper grammar, instead of talking like a dumb southerner.

Child: Well, you know, I had a fun experience there, too-
Billy Bob: Hey. no one was talkin' to you! Don't be talking grown, ya hear me! This is grown people conversation!

talking to mute

The increasingly common situation where an individual on a conference orvideo call talks extensively without remembering to turn on their microphone. Also an excuse for situations where that same person wasn't paying attention to the call whatsoever. This situation is most common in conference call scenarios although it can also be seen in video conferences, particularly in the current work-from-home environment.

"Jamie? Jamie?? You there? We need your approval to allow the project to start."

(long pause)
"Oops, sorry, guys. Talking to mute again." (with the sound of toilet flushing in the background)
