Referring to tally as a score or points, and to hall as a passage, it means that this leave is only just a point towards the goal essentially meaning talk to you later or I will visit you later. This “slang” has been tracked back to the Egyptians it’s widely considered to be what gave the band tally hall the inspiration for their name

Hall Train

A classic "train" with zero entry requirements and very easy to qualify, but conducted at a risky location where getting caught will be very costly.
