To keep a person in a conversation which they want to end.

This can be done by continuing to talk, not allowing the person time to end the conversation; or, engaging a person to stay in the conversation by asking closed questions, and then continuing to talk.

He has fluffy hair (which is also tacky.) He’s the type of guy to say “6’7” every other second, and always thinking he can pull every girl.
