when someone you were dating or interested in ghosts you / fizzles out and then come back around after too much time has passed. They typically send a message through social media or text, showing some interest or curiosity about your life, but have no actual interest in meeting up or continuing to talk to you. They are bored.

I haven't heard from him in 3 months and he just DM'd me saying 'what's up?"
