Overall its a justifiable excuse for when you do something completely amazing or really stupid. From passing an exam to accidental setting your house on fire due to the fact that you didn't catch that last flaming chainsaw.

Example 2

Officer: "Sir do you know how fast you were going?"

Guy 3: "It doesn't matter how fast I was going because I'm Batman!!!"

Saying you are going to do something simply because of who you are. The highest level of self-confidence and overemphasis of your abilities.

Hernandez himself when he makes a move on Elaine in a 92 episode of Seinfeld simply because he was Keith Hernandez. Michael Jordan making 3's in Game 1 of the 1992 Finals and shrugging to the crowd. Matt Leinart slinging the ball long on 4th down against Notre Dame. Basically someone who is high on illegal, very-dangerous drugs. This includes: LSD, Ecstacy, Methanphetamines, and other halcinugens (haluccinations). Acid trip is the result of an act known as "dropping acid"
This is also a lyric in the Eminem/D-12 song Under The Influence. That line is sung by Bizarre.

The most well-known catchphrase on SANFORD & SON. Whenever Fred Sanford heard something particularly distressing, he always staggered around clutching his chest and shouted to his deceased wife, "This is the big one! I'm comin' Elizabeth!" This particularly applies to whenever you hear some really awful, distressing news, bad enough to make you think you were having a heart attack.

YOUR BOSS: I'm afraid I have some bad news: you won't be getting your bonus, I need you to work overtime next week, and your car's just been impounded.
