The anxiety and suspense involved in staring as you see a friend is typing an instant message or facebook chat message but never seems to complete it. The feeling can last for minutes or even hours. Unfortunately unlike actual blue balls, chat blue balls can not be relieved by jerking off.

Person 1: "What's with Freddy, he was supposed to come out with us an hour ago?"
Person 2: "He looked pretty pissed, he's probably suffering from chat blue balls again."

When you make a new friend on facebook/myspace/gmail/aim and chat every time both of you are online until you have nothing to talk about and start avoiding the friend except for the occasional update. The point where all topics have been covered and chat becomes less frequent is known as chat burn-out.

Bronson: Hey David what are you and Maddie chatting about on facebook? David: oh nothing much these days, we kind of reached chat burn-out.

Chat Room Terrorist

A person or persons within a group chat who consistently go off on multi-message tangents with out much involvement from other room members. The Chat Room Terrorist often ignores or makes cursory comments about other conversation threads within the room. Often, a Chat Room Terrorist will leave 60-100 messages on multiple tangential topics at strange hours of the night.

Yowzers, that guy Danny is a real Chat Room Terrorist. Did you see his rant last night?
Yea, 256 messages about Trump, 9-11 and boats being parked int he street, that guys off his rocker.
