It was founded on March 15, 1873 by Jabez William Clay, Frederick George Campbell, Joseph Franklin Barrett, Xenos Young Clark, William Penn Brooks, and Henry Hague at Massachusetts Agricultural College in Amherst (now the University of Massachusetts.) Phi Sigma Kappa merged with Phi Sigma Epsilon in 1985 in what was the largest merger in the fraternal world.

The fraternity was formed to advance the science of pharmacy and its allied interests, and to foster and promote a fraternal spirit among its brothers. We now span over 80 chapters in the United States. We focus on academics as well as social, and our philanthropy is St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
We aren't a Frat full of boys who do stupid shit, we are a Fraternity composed of MEN who are leaders in our profession.
And we have a good time. It also helps when your making bank and not a scrub like those Sociology majors, Philosophy, or Physical Education majors which is just a sorry excuse to play lacross all day.
