Underdogging

Siding with the underdog in a situation or debate simply because they are the underdog and regardless of whether or not you agree with them.

This term originates from the book 'Generation X' by Douglas Coupland.

Underdog: Abortions should be illegal.
Person A: Yeh I totally agree.
Person B: Hey man, quit underdogging!
