It is a form of reverse psychology, except the persons mind can't figure out what it means but you soul can.

The psychological Finger is the PC version of giving someone the real Finger. The recipient will only realize they have been given the Psychological Finger long after the fact when they realize that you had no intentions of following through with a promise to either help or get back to them.
You " Boss, I need a new Computer, mine is very slow"
Boss "Sure, no problem, I will send an e-mail to IT and instruct them to get you a new Computer"
You call IT two weeks later to ask whether your Boss had sent the e-mail only to find out it was never sent.

The idea that human behavior can be explained through evolution. An idea usually hated by SJWs. It shows that human nature is biological, and not all just a social construct, and can be used to explain things such as gender differences.
The human brain, like the human body, has been shaped through evolution, hence evolutionary psychology.

Any of the mind games that a person plays to convince themself and others that they are an innocent victim, rather than the insidious slutbag they really are. Psychological whorefare allows someone to continue there whoremongering behavior without guilt and at the expense of their partner’s sanity and emotional wellbeing. Examples include, but aren’t limited to:
1) Starting a fight, so they can break up with their partner for a weekend, for a one night stand, without it “technically” being cheating. 2) Claiming that a close “friend” is just a friend and not a backup relationship, despite their obvious mutual attraction to each other, and HOW FUCKING DARE YOU QUESTION IT, YOU JEALOUS ASSHOLE!! 3) Testing their partner’s love in ways which are meant to fail, thus justifying seeking attention from others. A common test is telling the partner to stay away, then later claiming that if the partner really cared, they would have come over anyway.
