To derail an excellent conversation, story, or running joke by making observations (qualitative or definitive) about how the excellent conversation, story, or running joke works, totally ruining everyone's fun and disrupting the creation of something wonderful. Often used to describe a specific sort of naive thread-killing comment on internet forums. Usually made by someone who jumps the thread.

"Hey, this is a really funny joke! lolz" "Arg. Hiesenberged." -or- "Thanks, Hiesenberg." (sarcasm)
