Homing Beacon

The internal compass that guides the lost warrior home when he/she is too drunk to see straight. More often than not, the individual will have no recollection of how they got home.

Often the homing beacon will activate itself suddenly and without warning, however, it is usually preceded with several minutes worth of vacant staring and the sudden exit of the individual may be accompanied by some grunt or the phrase, 'i have to go'.

- The homing beacon, in an advanced person may also make you stop for food.
A: 'So what, I just stared at the floor, got up, said bye and left? Dude I don't remember sh*t from last night...'

B: 'Yeah man, I'm surprised you made it back OK, that's some homing beacon you got there.'

Baton Twirling

A sport involving a metal stick, called a baton. It's a combination of dance and gymnasics, while twirling the baton. It was origionally a men's sport for twirling in front of the marching band in parades but is now open for both genders to participate. Baton twirling is considered a sport in many coutries around the world and, in Japan, the twirlers are treated like famous sports stars. There are different levels of competitions (states, regionals, nationals, worlds). There are different levels and age groups, too.
Baton twirling started by drum majors using batons to keep the beat for the marching band and were commonly twirled to create more of a show for spectators.
