They've released two full length albums which I highly recommend. Only 300 CD's were made for their first CD but they do plan on rereleasing it in the not too distant future.

Get the Explosions in the Sky mug.Explosions in the Sky are a post-rock group from Austin, Texas formed in 1999. Their name was supposedly inspired by the sound of fireworks.
With a few exceptions, there are no lyrics in their songs. In my opinion, this makes great studying music.
Some people are turned off by wordless music, but I would encourage anyone to give them a listen, or any music in the genre for that matter.
Explosions in the Sky has recorded four studio albums and one EP, as well as the majority of the soundtrack to Friday Night Lights, an excellent sports drama.
I have seen them in Austin once, and plan to again later this year.
