A person who seriously engages in the hobby of protesting. They run around screaming trying to change the world by getting "them" to do the right thing instead of finishing college, getting a job, or running for office.

My last girlfriend was mad about the environment, the War, and animal rights, so instead of working she went to meetings with other angry protesters.

Protester

The only reason America is a country. Definition is someone who protests an unfair situation they or someone else experiences. In the 1770s, the Boston Tea Party were lots of protester against Britain's corporate welfare to the British East India business the colonists were being forced to subside. They brought attention to the unfair treatment and mobilized the American colonists to act and successfully win independence from Britain. I firmly belive this. Without protesters, there would be no America, without America, there would be no urban dictionary. I do not think if the United States was British controlled, there'd even be an urban dictionary. People making negative definitions are probably from crap nations like Saudi Arabia or {Lithuania, where there's little free speech. First to the user saying protesters don't work, that is a stupid stereotype by the lamestream media. Second to the user calling them privileged college students, most protesters in America are actually not college students, so you're using the far left tactic of assuming a group has privilege because u don't like them. Third to the user saying they don't have the money or manpower to change the world, just look at the successful Boston Tea Party and black civil rights protests. I am proud to be a protester and have protested the Federal Reserve.

Protester Class

The Protester Class is a class of people above the middle class but below the upper class. While most middle and lower class people need to hold down a steady job to pay their bills, the Protester Class doesn't have that burden and are therefore free to spend their days protesting and evenings rioting and/or looting. Though being an elite class of people, the Protester Class is much more diverse than other top classes. It is not uncommon to observe rich college students "protesting" arm in arm with hardened felons and psychopathic anarchists.

Ronnie: "Hey Kent, after today's protest you wanna go break into Nike and steal some Jordans, then go and burn down that restaurant your moms works at?"
Kent: "Man I wish.. I gotta be at work tomorrow morning, though."
Ronnie: "Work? Didn't anyone tell you that "Uncle George" is taking care of us? I haven't had to work in months. Welcome to the Protester Class, my friend."

The protester formerly known as Sir James and now just as James

The idea that you must fight corruption (and probably) toasters in any capacity you have, particularly when they occur in government. The calling card of those opposing the toaster revolution, a cause that some say isn't really about kitchen appliances but about hostile governments, evil walrii and vikings under Norway battling for world domination.
The evil walrii, said to already have subversively conquered most of North america, and if they wanted to, Mexico, are secretly infamous for installing fake robot governments and hiding the truth about Canada.
Violent uprisings widely and inaccurately publicized as "elections" or "world summits" demonstrate the public's growing concern at the threat the walrii pose to both humanity and the eyes (they are hideous).
It has been claimed that the protester formerly known as Sir James and now just as James, is a real man, and the leader of the opposition to the toaster revolution, there is much debate on the issue and "what it all means".
Of those that believe he exists some say he is a gentleman and a scholar, others denounce him as merely being drunk.
No one knows where he was born, his age, or his favorite color. Even under torture this information would not be revealed by he or his "associates", or randomly selected members of the public. The mystery remains.
Man, idea or nonsense the name is central in the "toaster revolution" as a symbol against corruption, deceit and all things evil in government and kitchenware stores.

pendulum protester

A person who will wildly alter his or her views in order to contradict a (usually prominent and/or majority-held) action or view, often to the point of contradicting their own previous statements or stated opinions.

Most noticeable in political forums, especially online.

PP: "We should all love each other and not fight or make war, because we are all humans and should unite under the banners of our own similarities."
Bystander: "What do you think about the Iraq war?"
PP: "DEATH TO TEH FASCIST AMERIKKKA!!!! EMBRACE MARXISM!! FREE MUMIA!! CHE GUEVARA!!!!
