In the Sys

Pronounced (in•thuh•sis)

Short for "in the system" of whoever the subject happens to be. This is usually referring to drugs and alcohol but it can refer to other things as well.

"I got liquor in the sys!"
"Excuse her. She got too much coke in the sys."
"We gotta find an antidote. For God's sake man! I got freakin' poison in the sys!"
"All you need is a lil' THC in the sys. Then, you'll feel better man. Don't worry."

Syed

Syed in Arabic means Honorable. Syed refers to a very respected clan in Arab world i.e. to people who are desendents of the prophet. Most Arabs refer to Syeds for Spiritual healing and prayers. However, there are some individuals who claim to be Syed but are not. Such people bring bad name to the authentic Syeds.

Syed Sahib told me some prayers for difficult times.
