group name in the same catagory as those such as indie or emo.
applies to all those who do not fit in a certain cliche and prefere to mix their tastes
first invented by Sophie Nesbitt and Katie Tindle of the north east of england when they realised they werent elegible to join any other kind of group

anyone can be a clec, unless they are anything else. IF YOU ARE INDIE, EMO, GOTH, PUNK, NEW RAVE OR A MEMBER OF ANY OTHER SIMILAR GROUP YOU ARE NOT A CLEC. a clec is purely a mix and match of all if these groups

Clecho

A portmanteau of clue echo in crosswords. Coined by Dennis of the LA Times Crossword Corner blog.

In the same crossword grid, RNA is clued as "Cellular transmitter", and PHONE is also clued as "Cellular transmitter". This is called a clecho.

A person who has severe intellectual deficiencies who, somehow, bludgeons their way through school and college to a sub-standard university. A wannabe academic, whose awareness of current affairs involves watching Big Brother. Someone who applies to university simply just to pass an inferior BTEC course. Also, it is a reason for them to delay the obligation to find a job. Will probably work as a manager for a high street store in the future, but with little chance of gaining promotion. Thus, a person with a mediocre lifestyle and intelligence.

That stupid girl got three C's in her A-level results. She's now gone to Brookes to study popular music. What a cleck.
