Fredneck

A nickname for the city of Frederick, MD (derived from a combination of FREDerick and redNECK, so therefore put together is Fredneck) because it's always been a small country town with rednecks that's why.

Me: Wanna move to a little city in Maryland called Frederick?
Somebody from outta town: Frederick!? aww now who da F wanna live in the middle of Fredneck?! It's so boring and redneckey with a bunch o' cornfields!
Me: yea, but it's growing into more of a city for some reason. However it's little old infrastructure can't keep up with it.
Somebody from outta town: oh okay then. but still, until it has high rises and actual night life along with a metro line in the city, I ain't movin there!
Me: fair.
