Supdate takes the formerly shortened word 'sup' which is derived from the question:' what is up?' and combines it with update, which simply molds together the two following phrases: 'What is up?' and " i want to hear an update regarding your life and recent endeavors."
It can be used in several of the following fashions, "Hey Dude, supdate?" Meaning hello friend, what is up and please give me an update on your life.

Or, "Hey dawg, supdate?" meaning- hello cool guy, what is up and please give me an update on life.
