derealization

A feeling caused by anxiety where places that should be familiar seem 'off' in some way. Derealisation (or derealization) extremely hard to describe to someone who has never experienced it before, although if you're here I imagine you're experiencing it right now. It's often described as like a veil has been put over you that dull all your senses and your surroundings, although personally I find it's like everything is too 'vivid'. It normally goes away completely by itself when whoever experiences when they stop thinking about it. See deperonalisation
"I'm experiencing derealization, but the worst part is that I had to put the american spelling"

Derealization

A state in which somebody is heavily convinced that their experience or current life is a dream or nightmare that they are forced to stay in. This strong delusion is usually caused by mental illness and triggered by mental illness or conspiracy. One can easily be convinced they are living a bad dream and hardly convinced that they are in real life and awake. These can last in episodes or long periods of time.
“I have accepted that my current life is a bad dream that i can’t wake up from unless i destruct myself. My legitimate body is probably in a coma somewhere. They say it is a case of derealization”*

*(example of defined delusion, if self-destruction is on your mind, reach out to a loved one or hotline as soon as possible.)

Derealisation

A sense of detachment from reality, where surroundings appear distorted, perceptions are twisted and strangely disturbing. You may feel like you're trapped in a nightmare, enshrouded in a fog where time and space are slowed.
You know life is shite when in the grip of a derealisation episode.

Dewhalization

The process, for a crypto currency, to move progressively from the hands of some whales into the hands of the greater public or organizations, reducing the impact of whales sell-of or buy-in on that particular crypto market.
With the purchase of BTC in the billions of $ buy MicroStrategy and Tesla, we may be seeing the progressive dewhalization of Bitcoin.
