riding a phrase

when someone uses someone else's answer that they have heard before to a question they were asked, especially if it was a smart/witty answer.
john: "so how are things working out for you with jane?"
bill: "we're fine as two fine things on table."

after a few minutes.

kurt: "how are the kids?"
bill: "they're fine as two fine things on a table."
kurt: "hey! bill said the same thing to me earlier. don't go riding a phrase, bill."

Catch and Release Phrase

To pick up and use a new catch phrase, only to abandon it when it becomes popular.
Everytime I used to hear Blue Oyster Cult on the radio I would yell "More Cowbell!!" until I heard Biff in acounting do the same. Then I knew it was time for me to make "More Cowbell!!" a Catch and Release Phrase and move on.

The Yoongi phrase

The Min Yoongi phrase is the perfect debate and argument to the reasoning of "sleeping makes you taller."
Min Yoongi, a member of BTS, is the most accurate defending technique and phrase against this saying. Park Jimin is accurate saying for "My ancestors are short."
"It doesn't happen for everyone,as the yoongi phrase goes, yoongi sleeps but doesnt grow taller."
