Fake Gesture Trap 

A manipulative tactic where someone retroactively claims they had planned a generous or thoughtful act but blames the other person's behavior for "ruining" it. This fabricated scenario is used as a trap to evoke guilt, regret, or compliance, even though the supposed gesture was never genuinely intended.

After our disagreement, he set up a fake gesture trap, saying he was about to propose to me but decided not to because I upset him.

Comes from all of those years of spearing things in the jungles and communicating with other spear hunters. (Wait, that requires intelligence). Anyway, it is impossible not to laugh at at, because it looks so hilarious.
