A variation on virtue signaling, eff you signaling is a statement or action intended to express complete disdain for traits broadly considered to be virtuous - kindness, consideration, concern for the environment, respect for human rights, etc.
Bruce's post about "libtard snowflakes crying for trannies to use girls bathrooms" was eff you signaling, to make sure everyone knows that he hates LGBTQ people and is proud of it.
