A term, predominantly used in the Southeastern United Stated, to denote a person whose mental countenance has been compromised by years of psychedelic drug and nitrous use. Wooks are the first rung of the ladder of Pumpkinhead. Generally spotted staring into space, being lost, or forgetting what they were saying at Dead lots, Phish lots, Widespread shows, Blues Bars, and various other “vibe-heavy” music scenes.

Pumpkinheads generally don’t have the wherewithal to sell drugs, but they’ll tell you where to get the good-goods.
