from the word anthropomorphic- but is the consequence of being injured or intimidated by those very same animate and/or inanimate objects one attaches human emotions too.

An attraction to objects or things with humanoid form. For example the humans in Chuck Tingle books are anthropomorphiles and in love with or sexually attracted to objects and concepts in human form.

I am attracted to my sentient face mask. I must be an anthropomorphile.
